Святкування Храмового Свята –Празника у Катедрі!
У неділю 25 листопада 2018 р. Парафіяни і гості розпочали святкування Храмового Свята Архиєрейською Святою Літургією, яку очолив Преосв. Кир Стефан, Єпарх Торонто і Східної Канади у сослужінні духовенства Катедри. В часі богослужіння владика Стефан молився за парафіян і гостей, та за Ювілятів подружнього життя, яких спеціально і поблагословив ще після св. Літургії. Вірні прийнявши Святе Причастя опісля приступали і приклалися до Святих Мощів священномученика Йосафата- покровителя нашої спільноти. Чисельні Божі ласки через заступника св.Йосафата у той день сплили на Божий Люд.
У парафіяльній залі діти школи св.Йосафата привітали всіх чудовим виступом з піснями і віршами. А святковий обід приготовлений Baby Point Launch дуже всім смакував так, що всі були справді задоволені, дякуючи Богові і всім добровольцям, що трудилися приготовляючи це Свято.
Найбільше Парафіяльне Свято справді дуже гарно відбулося і милі спомини ще надовго залишаться у душі кожного, хто взяв участь у ньому. Щира подяка всім тим, хто прийшов на Свято і підтримав чудову традицію Празника. Боже благослови нас усіх!
Parish Feast Day –Praznyk Celebration.
On Sunday November 25, 2018 our parish celebrated its annual Feast Day (Praznyk) dedicated to St.Josaphat, Priest and Martyr. The High Mass was celebrated by our parish clergy and the Bishop Most Rev.Stefan Chmilar, the Eparch of Toronto and Eastern Canada. Bishop Stefan prayed for the parishioners, guests and the Jubilarian couples who he blessed after the Divine Liturgy. The faithful were able to kiss the relics of St.Josaphat, patron saint of our community. Numerous Divine graces were bestowed upon all parishioners that day through the intercession of St.Josaphat, the Martyr.
An entertaining concert was held in the church hall and a delicious luncheon catered by Baby Point Lounge. The Praznyk began with an opening prayer and blessing. The students of St.Josaphat School greeted all with a beautiful performance of songs and poetry. The luncheon was enjoyed by all. We are grateful to God and the volunteers who helped in preparation of the Feast Day. Everyone left with pleasant memories in their hearts and soul as a result of this celebration.
